We've changed a few of our protocols relating to the new Covid-19 restrictions
Please read the following requirements carefully.
The CMTBC has created guidelines consistent with the principles set out by BC’s Provincial Health Officer and by WorkSafeBC. As we have taken measures to minimize risk of viral transmission, the nature of massage therapy means that physical distancing is not possible in the treatment room. These safety protocols are in place to minimize risk to all.
DISTANCING
Arrive unaccompanied (unless requiring assistance) right at your appointment time
The front door is open and seats are spread apart
Please be respectful of any other guests in the waiting room and keep your distance
HEALTH SCREENING
Continue to monitor yourself for any cold and flu symptoms, call 811 if you have any concerns
Cancel your appointment if you are not feeling well
Treatment may be post-poned with no fees applied if your therapist decides you do not pass our health screening
HAND SAFETY
Upon entering the office, sanitize your hands. There is a sink if you'd prefer to use soap and water
Gloves are available if you would like your therapist to wear them
A tissue or cloth to open the doors is available, but we will also be sanitizing them often
Refrain from touching your face; use a tissue or sleeve, if needed
MASK USE
Please bring a mask to your appointment to wear in common areas and if your therapist or you would prefer during treatment
A disposable or clean cloth mask can be provided
Prior to exiting the front door, dispose of your cloth mask in the hamper, resanitize your hands
SANITIZATION
Everything touched by you in the massage room will be disinfected between every person
High-touch areas in the office will be sanitized multiple times a day
One-time use sheets and head rest covers (as always) will continue to be used
Blankets will also be one-time use, used only when requested
Heating pads are covered with a santizing cover
Contact-less payment & receipt
If you have travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days or come into contact with anyone with COVID-19, or have COVID-19 symptoms, reschedule your appointment, and consider calling 8-1-1.
Thank you for making it a safer environment for everyone!
